Frequently Asked Questions
To keep your account secure and meet legal requirements, we may ask you to verify your identity before you can use certain payment options. This helps us confirm it's really you, protect against fraud, and provide our services responsibly.
If verification is needed, we'll guide you through each step. You may be asked to upload a valid ID, take a quick selfie, and confirm the information shown on screen. The process only takes a few minutes.
Please check that your ID is valid, clearly visible, and fully captured in the photo. Make sure nothing is covering the document, take your selfie in good lighting, and ensure the details match the information you entered during checkout. If you still have trouble, you can simply try again.
In some cases, we're required to collect a little more information before offering certain payment options. This helps us make sure the payment option is suitable for your financial situation and allows us to meet our legal responsibilities. We'll only ask for the information that's needed.
Your information is processed securely and only used to verify your identity, assess your application, and comply with legal requirements. We only collect what's necessary and handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
If verification or additional information is required, we need to complete this process before we can offer the payment option you've selected. If you choose not to continue, you may need to choose a different payment method instead.
Completing the verification process doesn't automatically mean your application will be approved. Every application is reviewed individually based on legal requirements and other relevant factors. If we're unable to offer your selected payment option, you may see other payment methods available during checkout or in the Riverty app.
When you apply for one of our credit products, we assess your application using a range of factors, including your financial situation and applicable legal requirements. Based on this assessment, we determine the amount of credit we can responsibly make available to you. Your available credit may change over time.
Different Riverty payment options work independently and may have different available credit amounts. This means you could have credit available for one payment option while another has a lower limit or is temporarily unavailable. We review your available credit regularly, so it may change over time.
You can check your available credit at any time in the Riverty app. Keep in mind that the amount may vary between different payment options and can change as your account is reviewed.
When you first start using one of our credit products, your available credit may be temporarily limited. After we receive your first payment by bank transfer, your full available credit may become available, provided all other requirements are met. This extra step helps us keep your account secure.
No. Each Credit ID has its own available credit, so credit can't be transferred from one Credit ID to another.
Once your application has been approved, we'll send your credit agreement by email or post. You can also find it anytime in the Riverty app under Documents, where you can view or download it.
