Hi, I’m Florian

I’m a Senior Organizational Development Expert based in Germany, with experience across different industries and complex transformation environments. Four years ago, I was looking for a dynamic product-tech company with inspiring teams and plenty of organizational complexity to work on. That’s exactly what I found at Riverty.

I brought experience from large-scale transformation projects outside Riverty, which helps me combine an external view with a deep understanding of our organization.
Here, I design and evolve operating models: structures, decision-making processes, and leadership systems that create clarity, accountability, and performance at scale. I work closely with senior leadership teams to turn strategic ambition into concrete structures.

Organizational change is rarely linear. It comes with resistance, competing priorities, and strong opinions. A big part of my role is to navigate these tensions and turn friction into alignment, ownership, and progress. What excites me most is helping people and teams see and reach levels of clarity and performance they didn’t think were possible.

Growth Through Change

Looking back, one of my biggest moments of personal growth was triggered by change. Moving from one team to another felt challenging at first, but it pushed me further than I expected. Facing new challenges, partnering with new stakeholders and teamsand taking on projects which prove to be challenging always helps me grow. It taught me that the greatest opportunities often lie in moments of transition.

The photo shows a person looking directly into the camera with a warm, open smile. The person is wearing round, black horn-rimmed glasses and a medium blue denim shirt by the brand Levi's, identifiable by the red brand tab on the chest pocket. The shirt features two chest pockets with white buttons and visible yellow stitching. The person has short, dark brown hair with light grey accents at the sides. The facial expression appears open, welcoming, and positive. The background shows a bright, modern indoor space. On the left side of the image, large glass windows are visible, through which green plants and a blue sky can be seen. To the right behind the person, there is a curved seating bench with a dark brown and a red upholstered section. Above the person, branches with green leaves hang down, likely from an indoor tree. The background is softly out of focus (bokeh effect), keeping the person clearly in the foreground. No text elements, screens, icons, or technical devices are visible in the image.

Taking Initiative, Fostering Change

My role directly influences how Riverty turns strategy into action. I focus on creating structures, processes, and practices that support sustainable growth. Ownership and accountability are expected across the organization. For me, this means building connections beyond my formal responsibilities.

When it became clear that strategy execution lacked focus and alignment, I designed and introduced a unit-wide goal-setting and planning approach to create transparency, ownership, and measurable progress across teams.

AI now plays a key role in how we shape Riverty. It becomes strategically relevant when it improves decisions, lowers coordination effort, and makes trade-offs visible across different areas. Using AI-supported analytics to reveal structural bottlenecks, misalignment, and execution gaps helps us make faster and better decisions across the organization.

I’m currently exploring AI-driven solutions that support leadership teams in defining, prioritizing, and aligning goals across domains. My goal is to help Riverty not only adapt to a fast-changing world, but also actively shape its structures, processes, and leadership models to stay ahead.

Navigating the FinTech Future

Working at Riverty means operating where innovation, regulation, and scale meet. In organizational development, this means we constantly rethink how we structure work, decisions, and accountability. In FinTech, technology, regulation, market needs, and human behavior come together and create a very demanding level of complexity.

One of our key initiatives is to help shape Riverty’s transformation toward a regulated FinTech operating model. We align strategy, structure, and leadership behavior so that Riverty can grow sustainably in a regulated and fast-changing environment.

At Riverty, we’re not just building products; we’re building the organizational foundations that make long-term financial impact possible. This mix of purpose and complexity is what makes the work meaningful.

For me, “Shape” means taking responsibility for how we design the system we work in – individually and together – learning from different perspectives, and improving it as we grow. We shape the organization, and in return, it shapes us.
